Eco-Friendly PE PVC PP Profile Equipment Drives the Rapid Development of WPC Composite Material Industry

Eco-Friendly PE PVC PP Profile Equipment Drives the Rapid Development of WPC Composite Material Industry

The global market demand for recyclable wood-plastic building materials continues to soar, and professional PE PVC PP Profile Equipment has become the core production machinery for manufacturers of landscape and decorative composite materials. Supply chain data shows that the annual output of WPC products increased by 7.5% year-on-year, and machinery suppliers have optimized one-step and two-step co-extrusion processes to adapt to different fiber-filled raw material formulas.

The production line is divided into two mature processes: one-step molding for PVC wood-plastic materials, and two-step granulation extrusion for PE and PP wood-plastic mixtures. The optimized low-shear twin-screw barrel protects plant fiber structures, allowing 50%–70% wood powder and straw filling without fiber fracture affecting product strength. The integrated layout includes mixing unit, spiral feeder, extrusion host, cooling setting table and fixed-length cutting machine, which saves workshop space for small and medium-sized eco-material factories.

The finished WPC wood-plastic profile covers outdoor flooring, guardrails, logistics pallets and decorative wall panels, with waterproof, termite-proof and maintenance-free advantages that solid wood cannot match. By simply replacing the mold, the same set of equipment can switch production between wood-plastic profiles, plastic steel frames and hollow grid plates, maximizing factory production flexibility. The whole line adopts circulating water cooling and variable frequency traction motors to cut energy consumption, conforming to the development trend of recycled plastic composite material.

The EU has issued strict logging restriction policies and requires outdoor building components to contain more than 30% recycled raw materials, which drives a large number of export orders for wood-plastic extrusion machinery. Equipment suppliers provide customized formula testing services to adjust screw compression ratio according to different fiber proportions to ensure uniform fusion of plastic and plant fibers. The next R&D focus is multi-layer co-extrusion technology, adding anti-UV surface coating to extend the service life of outdoor profiles to more than 20 years. With the global circular economy policy being promoted, wood-plastic profile extrusion equipment will maintain high growth in the plastic machinery subdivision track.
